The basics
What is resin bound surfacing?
Resin bound surfacing is a permeable system created by mixing resin with natural stone aggregate before it's laid, producing a smooth, durable finish that allows water to drain through rather than pool on the surface. This makes it SUDS-compliant, an important consideration for many commercial and public realm projects.
It's a different system to resin bond (sometimes called resin bonded), which uses loose aggregate scattered over a resin layer and is non-permeable. If you're looking for driveway-specific resin bond work, see our resin bond driveways page. This page covers resin bound surfacing for commercial applications.
Surfacing R Us provides commercial resin bound surfacing in Sanderstead for businesses, property managers and local authorities who need a hard-wearing, compliant surface for high-footfall or public-facing areas.
